Wacky Wednesday
Boys will be boys...even in there 20's! We went with all our kids at the fairgrounds park in Safford, Arizona. (this a couple of years ago) And of coarse the boys had to get on and play just like the little kids were. All I can say is...Boys will be boys!!!

I have never heard this one ~ Interesting Thought....
"Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself."— C.S. Lewis

FHE
For our family home evening this week, we planted seeds in grow boxes (easy way to grow plants). We planted corn, watermelon, broccoli, squash, cauliflower, cucumbers and okra. We are really excited to see how they do. Madison grew tomatoes and chili peppers all winter long. It was really fun to go and pick your own tomatoes right off the vine.

Flashback Friday
Well not sure what I am going to do about my flashback Friday. I am in Prescott and have no access to my photos. So after thinking for awhile, I have chosen a picture that I am sure all of us have on our comps. It is in the sample pictures, I am sure that all of us have used this picture for our desktop or screen saver once! I hope all of you have had a wonderful Friday!!!

Wacky Wednesday!
Well there was nothing really wacky about this Wednesday...I met Cheryl and Addie for lunch today. We went to a place called "Do Do Restaurant" It was a quiet little place that had really good soup and sandwiches. Then we went walking around at Gateway Mall. It was really a nice day. Afterwards I went back to Temple Square and saw a lot more stuff that I didn't know was there. I got to go into the R.S. building and then I went and saw the Movie on Joesph Smith. What an amazing movie...Today was a good day!
Cheryl and Addie: It was GREAT to see you...Thank you for a good day! Addie as soon as I get home I will put your pictures on here that I took, so you can see them, you are an awesome girl, thank you for the smiles!

THoughts from Temple Square...
Today, I went down to Temple Square and walked around. What a beautiful place to be, the sun was shinning with just a cool breeze blowing, just a time to sit quietly and think about loved ones here and those who have gone on before. What a stronger testimony I have gotten since I have been here. Our Heavenly Father truly loves us and wants us to live our lives worthily to live with him again. To have such a tremendous love for us his children and to suffer what he did for us and for our oldest brother to love us, but to die for us. What a love..... I am so grateful for what they have done for me personally. I will be so ever grateful and humbled....

Our Long Day @ NHRA
Racing Bear
Today we got up early and went to the NHRA at Firebird Raceway: for those of you that don't know what that stands for National Hot Rod Association...It was the most awesomest (I know not a real word) day ever!!! Me and Madison had a blast! Madison got to meet and take several pictures with Tony Schumacher, got his autograph on the back of her U.S. Army Racing Bear. I think he made her day more than once. And of coarse after getting her picture taken, she said, "I will never wash my shirt again because he touched it!" She is so funny...All in all it was a really fun day!

A Honey Dew!
Today William and David went out and started my Honey Dew list. My plant bed in the backyard was starting to look pretty bad with all the barkwood and rocks mixing together. So they took and picked out all the small rocks added a large rock border and added back in more barkwood. It looks so nice! Thank you William and David!!! Now what else can I add to my Honey Dew list.....???Hmmmmmmm

Temple Groundbreaking Ceremony-Up Date

Our oldest son Chris lives in Safford, Arizona and was asked to be an usher for the Gila Valley Temple Groundbreaking Ceremony. I was looking at the pictures from the dedication on http://www.ldschurchtemples.com/ and there in the pictures was Chris. Ok now it isn't a full face frontal picture, but a mother would know her son anywhere! You can't pass a Crawford ear up for anything!!! He said he got to sit on the second row and it was really a good ceremony, besides it being 27*. (he is the one in the background, passed the program)

UP-DATE:
Ok...So my son Chris called me after I told him he was a star and informed me that, that wasn't him in the picture that I thought it was. Boy howdy am I a terrible mother not being able to notice her own son! ha ha ha So here is the picture of Chris. He is standing in the background on the left with the black jacket with the white square on it, with his head down.

Visit to Hospital
Well late Saturday night, Madison started having severe pain in her right ear. Of coarse me being Mom, I give medicine to her, hold her, rock her and say everything will be alright. That didn't work, her crying got louder (to were I am sure the neighbors heard) to were I took her to the ER. We arrived at 11:25pm and it seemed like it took forever to get seen, but it wasn't that bad. As we were checking in a nurse named Ricky, who we know very well because how often we go with our families, made Lorin (the Bear from earlier posts) a matching arm band like Madison's. After being seen by a nurse and then the doctor coming in, he decided that her eardrum had ruptured. No wonder she was crying, pour girl. After getting prescriptions for pain and infections, we got home at 3:15am! The doctor was very nice to Madison and gave her "2" small stuffed bears, which she has proudly named, Brandon and LeAnn, which are Lorin's Brother and Mother.
