What a wonderful little girl!

STORM

Last night we had a really bad storm. It took out our tree in the front yard, so we will have to replace it. In this video it was at the low point in the storm. I was to afraid to go out and video tape after that.

A day shared

Today Madison turned 8 years old! She shares her birthday with her cousin Nik and she loves that she does. She calls him her Birthday Bud! Happy 8th Birthday Madison and 18th Nik!!!
Next week Madison is making a very special choice in her life and that is to be baptized. We are very proud of her and her decision to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized.

What Courage...

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”



To have so much love and devotion to Our Heavenly Father is wonderful. To know that you hurt so bad, but know you will beat this, is amazing! For the courage you show, I learn....I love you, Lorin.

I guess it is contagious...if you scroll down you will see Rosealie asleep in the jumper. This is Chloe, she was jumping and all of a sudden,she was out! Wish they made one for Adults, I'd be glad to get in...!

Puppy

We have a new puppy...he is a 8 weeks old terrier. His name is Nash,named after our favorite Phoenix Suns player. He has already made a life time friend in Madison.

First Day of School

Here is Madison on her first day at her new school. She wasn't to sure about having to wear a uniform. But after shopping and seeing that they really didn't look half that bad on her, the uniforms where alright! So glad it started today, I don't think I could go another day being told that this was the most boring summer for them ALL! But I am so glad that she like school so much that she wants to be there. (she had to kiss Rosealie goodbye before she left, Chloe was sleeping still)

Now This Is Tired

Rosealie was crying a little so I put her in the jumper to play. A few minutes later we took a look and this is what you call...just down right tired!

Me Lately!

I am going to go to the doctors to get a complete physical. For about 2 months now, I haven't been able to go to sleep at night...It has been nights that I am still awake when Bill gets up to go to work. I have tried the reading a book,watching T.V., watching a boring movie,laying with the lights out and listening to the crickets out in the field behind our house, etc.....Nothing works! When I finally get to sleep, I do sleep and thank heavens that Brittany is here so she can watch Madison for me or there wouldn't be any sleep for me. (la la moo!) So hopefully soon I can get in and find out why I can't get to sleep!

LOOSE TOOTH!

Ethan has his first loose tooth, He is so excited about it! He wiggles it all the time...we will see how long it takes to come out. (Mary is wiggling it so we could see.)

At The Pool!

Jamie's Home

Jamie has been home to Alaska for an 18 day leave. He will be leaving to go back to Iraq on the 29th of July. Him,Mary and the boys have been having fun doing things as a family. Here are some of the picture of what they have been doing.

Nerve Test

Well I had the dreaded nerve test done this week...I hate having those done. My arm is still hurting from where they had to push the needles into my arm though the muscles into the nerves and then zap them with electricity,not a happy camper after that! So from the results of the test,it all stems from my neck problems. So they determined that I will be put on home traction, which means I get to wear this nice neck brace that has a water bag attached to it and I sit for 15 minutes twice a day for 2 weeks then it goes to 30 minutes. I will do this for 2 months and if it doesn't work or gets worse, they will send me to a Surgeon and will do surgery on my neck to fix the problem. Now you ask what is wrong with my neck? To put it in people terms not Doctors language, I have deteriorating disks on my right side in my neck, so therefore the fluid doesn't flow correctly which causes the muscle and nerves to put my right arm and leg to sleep or have serve pain. Which I will be glad to live without the pain medication and the pain to where I can't sleep at night, so hopefully something will work out.

4th of July Parade

Today was our Ward's 4th of July brunch and parade. Madison was in the parade as the children sang "Your a Grand Old Flag". Rosealie and Chloe were dressed in their partotic dresses.

Fire 6/25/08

There is a fire burning by our house. It is about 2 miles away, we are hoping they get it under control. It is pretty big and spreading fast...Here are some pictures I took.

Talk about a look

We all know that the CRAWFORD'S have a look when they are mad...but I think Zoe has a look all of her own! (Diana's friend is behind Zoe)
