Wacky Wednesday
You know when family gets together and you are trying to get a good picture that everyone is looking the same way and that the little ones aren't all crying or picking their noses, Right? Well we were having that kind of day and even the older kids where getting tired of all the pictures. So my sister in law said, "Alright lets get the funny face one out of the way!" So here is the not so serious picture...and our Wacky Wednesday pick of the week! (notice Bill isn't wacky or maybe he is and we are the normal ones....)

Madison Surgery
Today was Madison's surgery, she had to have a mole removed front over her left ear. It has been there since she was born. It started out small and just has gotten bigger over the years. We went and saw a specialist and he said to have it removed since it hurt her so much. We left at 5:45am to get to the hospital and at 7:30am this morning Dr. John Dudley Pyatt removed the mole. Madison loves his name, she thinks it is soooo cool! After we came home around 9:00am, she went straight to our room and of coarse layed on Bills side of the bed and has had 2 cans of chicken soup, a Popsicle and watching movies. Here are some pictures of her after surgery...

My Frontroom
Since we moved into our home, I have been trying to figure out something to put above the incove were our entertainment center sits in. It has been over a year and could never think of anything to put. One night I was sitting and talking to Madison about my nephew Lorin and the questions she had about why he died and how come he had to go so soon. At the end of crying and all she said to me, " That's why we have to endure to the end, Mom! So that's what it had to be....Lorin's motto was Endure to the End and he did that well........
Check this out!

A day full of fun and memories.....
Today was a long day! We started with Madison waking up at 5:00am, we kept her at bay til 5:45am and then it was time to open presents. Afterwards it was time to head off to Grandma Betty's (Charilla's mom) house for our traditional breakfast. We then opened presents and talked until it was time to go to Mike's house for the Crawford traditional lunch and opening of present, adults getting their Grammy Jammie's and getting our blankets! Afterwards we headed back home for the Elders over for Dinner. Santa left them a stocking full of candy and a pair of Grammy Jammie's too! So our day was full to the brim and we all had a wonderful time visiting with family... We hope your day was eventful and full of new memories too! (As you can tell by the pictures, Madison stayed in her Grammy Jammie's all day long.)

Good Memories and Laughs
Today Bill, Brittany, the girls and I drove to Mesa. On the way back Bill and I saw some old wooden spools, the large ones...that brought back so many old memories. We used to own one and it was used for our coffee table, we also remembered the bean bag chairs and the planks of wood on the grey bricks for the entertainment center with the small 13" black and white t.v. sitting on it and watching closely so the TV would fall on top of our oldest son, every time he went near it! We also had a orange road cone and stop sign hanging on the wall - Talk about ghetto! LOL It is funny how 1 thing will bring all the old stuff flooding back......

Tonight for FHE, we did some Christmas Baking. Each year for Bill's work we do Christmas Goody plates. So tonight we put our heads together and planned and then went to baking. We will deliver them tomorrow for each department...There will be chocolate chip cookies, no bake cookies, brownies, cinnamon swirl bread and peanut butter cookies. Yum- Yum!
